Things Are Revving Up at GAC Family Displaced Hallmark fans who are rejecting the network's rebranded wokeness are looking for a place to go where their morals and values are celebrated. GAC Family is the answer. Former Hallmark Channel CEO, Bill Abbott, purchased the former Great American Country Channels in the Fall of 2021 and renamed the network Great American Channels, which served as the umbrella for GAC Family and GAC Living. Romcom fans flocked to the newest destination, expecting Hallmark-esque movies minus the identity politics. GAC Family quickly delivered one original fall movie and twelve original Christmas movies followed by two new movies in 2022 to celebrate winter and Valentine's Day before seemingly stalling out.
